Greetings and welcome to the home of TheNFLGirl. I have been writing about the NFL for over 10 years now and I have even launched a companion podcast that is available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio and YouTube. I don’t know at what age I was introduced to football, but I have loved it for as long as I can remember and decided long ago to make a career out of it. I am originally from Washington D.C. and grew up watching my brothers play and my sister cheer while I just watched with fascination. Who knew it would be my actual job someday? I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Communications with a concentration in sports journalism. So I could turn my hobby into my life’s work. It has been a long arduous journey to get here, but it’s all worth it to see my hardwork pay off and to get to work in professional football.

I didn’t always want to be a sports writer, I always thought I’d be the next Maya Angelou but my passion and love of sports especially professional football kept leading me back to my true passion. Short, round and nerdy, I have never been what anyone would consider athletic nor played any sport outside of an elementary school P.E. class, but that has never stopped my love of sports. Feisty, opinionated and sometimes a bit angry, I know that passion is what keeps me glued to a television anytime a game is on and what makes me love to write about football. So thank you for stopping by and be sure to read my blog and download my podcast.
